Who we are

The Hijama Association of South Africa (HASA) is registered board that provides oversight for registered practitioners that practice and recognize Islamic alternative healing methods.

Mission

The Hijama Association of South Africa aims to recognize Islamic alternative healing methods by providing a platform where qualified practitioners are able to practice freely and openly along with ongoing support, protection and possible solutions. Furthermore Hijama/cupping is a beautiful healing method from the Sunnah of our beloved Nabi SAW and as Muslims the mission of The Hijama Association of South Africa’s  is to protect the  rights of all those who practice Hijama/cupping  and to ensure the wellbeing of those who have had Hijama/cupping performed on them.

Vision

The Hijama Association of South Africa envisions an increase in awareness of the practice as well as the amount of qualified practitioners expanding into a larger global community. In the years to come we aim to bridge the knowledge gap between practitioners/therapists who have qualified under The Rahmat Hijama/Cupping & Wellness centre and individuals who  have qualified elsewhere by allowing them to complete a bridging course allowing them to register and benefit from being part of HASA.
